Dellach is situated between the Gailtal Alps and the Kreuzeckgruppe mountain range, at 606 m above sea-level and with a population of approximately 1650.
Dellach is a climatic health spa with fresh, clean alpine air to breathe as well as a healthy climate. Encouraging well-being and vitality, our village offers a lot of hiking-, walking-, and cycling paths, many running- and Nordic walking trails, as well as a variety of mountain bike trails.

The construction of a pumptrack in the leisure area of Dellach im Drautal, connected to the "Camping am Waldbad", expands the leisure facilities of the municipality for guests and locals. The location directly on the Drau cycle path also makes the pump track an attractive stopover for cyclists who want to take a break and get some exercise.
The extension of the bike shelter improves the infrastructure for cyclists. A safe place to park bikes is very important for cycle tourists and bike hire. This helps to position the Drau cycle path as a comfortable and cycle-friendly route.
The installation of terrace tents for mobile homes improves the tourist infrastructure and offers guests a weatherproof roof. This creates a flexible and pleasant environment in which to enjoy the idyllic natural surroundings regardless of the weather.
The project is funded under the rural development program - project type 19.2.1. The funding amount of around € 39,000.00 is made up of federal, state and European Union funds.
