Nestled between the Gailtal Alps and the Kreuzeckgruppe mountain ranges, Dellach lies at an elevation of 614 metres above sea level and is home to approximately 1,626 residents (as of 1 January 2025).
Dellach is a climatic health resort renowned for its fresh, clean Alpine air and wholesome climate. Promoting well-being and vitality, our village offers an extensive network of hiking, walking and cycling paths, numerous running and Nordic walking trails, as well as a wide variety of mountain bike routes.
Fun in Dellach is guaranteed at the modern water park, which features a large adventure playground, a leisure centre, and the idyllic ‘Drau Oase’. In addition, active holidaymakers can enjoy a wide range of sports facilities, including a football pitch, a skate park, a beach volleyball court, a slackline park, and a newly added pump track.

you can travel conveniently and flexibly to many beautiful destinations throughout the surrounding region.
More than 40 local clubs in Dellach contribute to the richness of our culture, music, sports, nature, and community life. For generations, music has played an important role here in Dellach. Our chapel, choirs, dance groups, and numerous clubs and organisations host a variety of charming events and celebrations, including our popular summer night concerts.

Project "CP Dellach Touristische Weiterentwicklung"
In addition to commercial enterprises, Camping am Waldbad is the leading tourist attraction in Dellach im Drautal. Located directly on the Drau Cycle Path, the campsite has 186 pitches, 18 mobile homes, three swimming pools, a playground and a large leisure facility. Approximately 40,000 overnight stays are recorded per summer season. Modern heat pump technology was installed to make the hot water supply more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly in the future. The installation of the heat pump achieved the project goal of reducing energy consumption and sustainably improving the environmental balance for the coming years.
